2.   Remote Village Electrification Programme 2006-07

Sanction for installation of 7618 Nos of Domestic Lighting Systems (DLS) in 73 villages has been issued by MNRE. Process of tender is under progress.

3.   Rural Electrification Programme:

RREC is implementing Programme of  installation of SPV   Domestic  Lighting Systems (SPV Home Lighting Systems ) with financial assistance from MNRE, GOI and State Government to rural beneficiaries in Rajasthan. Govt. of India through Ministry of New & Renewable Energy ( MNRE) and  Govt. of Rajasthan provides subsidy on SPV Domestic Lighting Systems , Street Lighting Systems and SPV Water Pumping Systems. The details are as under :

(i) SPV Domestic Lighting System : RREC is providing SPV DLS ( Model-2, 37 Wp SPV Module with 2 Light Points of 9W CFL) under Rural Electrification Programme in Rural Rajasthan. Details of approved prices under programme 2006 07 which is extended upto 30/6/2007 are as under :

* Unit Cost                                                    :            Rs. 15075/-

* Subsidy ( By GOI / GOR )                         :            Rs.   4550/-

* Beneficiary Share                                      :            Rs. 10525/-

Scope of Work for supplier : The selected manufacturers / authorised suppliers shall identify beneficiaries to supply, install, commission systems and provide maintenance services for 2 years free of charge and for next three years at the fixed AMC charges   ( Rs. 300/- per year per Domestic Lighting System) to be charged from beneficiaries. Replacement of CFL is not included in this AMC responsibility.

Eligible Beneficiary for SPV Home Lighting Systems( SPV HLS/DLS):

Every resident of rural area (village) whether electrified or un-electrified is eligible for getting subsidy on SPV Domestic Lighting System.

(ii) SPV Street Lighting System : RREC is providing SPV SLS ( 74 Wp SPV Module with  Light Points of 11 W CFL) under Rural Electrification Programme in Rural Rajasthan. Details of approved prices under programme 2006-07 which is extended upto 30/6/2007 are as under : 

* Unit Cost of SLS                                        :            Rs. 30000/-

* Subsidy ( By GOI only)                               :            Rs.   9600/-

* Beneficiary Share payable by

Gram Panchayat :                                         :            Rs. 20400/-

Scope of Work for  installation of  SPV SLS  to suppliers covers followings :

(a) Identification of beneficiary Gram Panchayat / eligible beneficiaries willing to share cost of at least 5 Nos. SLS to be installed in a village.

(b) Execution of agreement with the Gram Panchayat identifying location of the SLS and its undertaking to provide balance cost of the systems, installation charges and maintenance charges.

(c) Supply, installation and commissioning of the system and hand over the system to beneficiary in working condition. Registering the system in the stock/ Asset register of Gram Panchayat /eligible institution beneficiary.

(d) Providing free maintenance for initial two years and for next three years at the fixed AMC charges   ( Rs. 500/- per year per Street  Lighting System) to be charged from beneficiaries. Replacement of CFL is not included in this AMC responsibility.

(e) Establishing “After sales service centres” in concerned tehsils to cater the maintenance needs of beneficiaries.

(f)  Collection of maintenance charges from concerned Gram Panchayat / eligible institution beneficiary.

Eligible Beneficiary for SPV Street  Lighting Systems:

* Every Gram Panchayat, whether the village is electrified or unelectrified eligible for getting SPV Street lighting system for community utility.

* Every non profit making organisation/institution is eligible for getting SLS.

* SLS shall be installed in a cluster of at least 5 Nos in a village.           

(4) SPV Water Pumping Programme:

 RREC is providing SPV Pumping Systems with financial support to beneficiary under programme of MNRE, GOI. The details of approved prices of different capacity Pumping Systems are as under:

Subsidy Support available under SPV Water Pumping Programme of MNRE, GOI : Rs. 30/- per watt of SPV module capacity subject to maximum Rs. 50000/- per Pumping System is being provided by GOI under Programme 2007-08.
